Medical Director

Dr. Suba completed his residency training in Psychiatry at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, where he served as Chief resident of his program. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Suba is currently the Associate Program Director for the Valley Health System Psychiatry residency program. He is currently on faculty with the UNLV School of Medicine, where he received the Faculty of the Year award in 2013, 2014, and 2016 from the Department of Psychiatry. He is adjunct faculty at Touro University in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, he serves as an Associate Medical Director at Talas Harbor Hospital.

Dr. Suba served as President of the Las Vegas branch of the Nevada Psychiatric Association in 2011. Dr. Suba was voted Top Doctor by Vegas Inc. magazine in 2015, 2016, 2021, and 2023.

Dr. Suba received his certification in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) from Duke University.  He is actively involved in training nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students.  He specializes in treating various psychiatric illnesses, including PTSD, Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and Bipolar disorder.

Dr. Suba was appointed by the Governer of Nevada to serve as a member of the Las Vegas Small Business Advisory Council from 2021-2022.

Dr. Daniel Park, DO

Co-Medical Director

Daniel Park, D.O., is a board-certified psychiatrist. He is a dedicated community psychiatrist with experience in inpatient and outpatient treatment in public and private settings.

Dr. Park graduated from Western University of the Health Sciences and completed residency training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Park has experience working with the State of Nevada, Rural Services, with clients in Pahrump, and with Elko, Fallon, Fernley, and Lovelock via telemedicine. Currently is an adjunct faculty member at Touro University.

Angel Alonso, LMFT, PhD Candidate

Co-Clinical Director at Momentum Centers

Angel Alonso is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a board-certified supervisor with a deep commitment to culturally attuned, trauma-informed care. He has extensive experience as the Program Director at Next Chapter Therapy, where he led the development of clinical programs, supervised staff, and ensured compliance with state regulations.

Angel also works at The Center Las Vegas, providing mental health services to LGBTQ+ youth and families through the Primary Health Clinic and Youth and Family Services. His expertise spans EMDR, hypnotherapy, and narrative therapy, and he focuses on supporting diverse and neurodivergent clients.

In addition to his clinical work, Angel is an instructor at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, where he received his Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy, mentoring future therapists and promoting education on cultural diversity and family systems. Currently pursuing his PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, focusing on Cultural Diversity and Social Justice, Angel is dedicated to creating inclusive therapeutic environments and advocating for social justice.

Rico Spencer

Floor Staff Supervisor

Rico Spencer brings over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, specializing in supporting at-risk youth, psychiatric patients, and individuals in addiction recovery. Originally from East St. Louis, IL, he earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Missouri Western State College and later obtained a Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University.

Throughout his career, Rico has worked in various roles, including primary counselor, lead psychiatric technician, and director of housing, where he developed treatment programs, supervised staff, and ensured client safety. As Floor Staff Supervisor at Momentum Centers, he oversees daily operations, providing structure and guidance to both staff and residents in a safe, therapeutic environment. His leadership and dedication ensure that every individual receives the support they need to grow and thrive.

Myra Nunez

Floor Staff Supervisor

Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Myra Nunez is a dedicated and compassionate professional with nearly two decades of experience working with youth. Bilingual and known for her kindness, friendliness, and strong work ethic, Myra is passionate about empowering young people to achieve a brighter future.
Since 2005, Myra has built a career focused on supporting juveniles in various roles, including working in mental health facilities, serving in probation services, and contributing to the Clark County School District. Beyond her professional contributions, she gives back to her community as a volunteer soccer coach and by assisting nonprofit youth programs.
When not working, Myra enjoys traveling to explore new places and cheering on her favorite football team, the Las Vegas Raiders. Her commitment to the well-being and success of youth makes her an invaluable member of the Momentum team.

Jerry Gomez

Plant Operations Director

Jerry Gomez brings several years of experience managing facilities for residential treatment centers. As Plant Operations Director at Momentum Centers, he oversees all aspects of building maintenance, safety protocols, and operational logistics. His hands-on approach ensures that the facility runs smoothly and remains a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.
With a strong background in handyman services and facility operations, Jerry is known for being highly resourceful and proactive. He works tirelessly behind the scenes, monitoring security systems and addressing maintenance needs before they become issues.
Outside of work, Jerry is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and cheering on his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

His commitment to excellence and passion for fostering a safe, supportive environment make him an essential part of the Momentum Centers team.
